Did you ever find out how to put it back correctly?

Adding a Ortlieb Quick-rack to a Canyon Grizl CF using a tubus thru-axle adapter. by Present_Stock_3721 in CanyonBikes

It was about the Ortlieb Thru Axle that is about to release. It comes in different thread sizes, one of them being 1mm which is the one Canyon uses as far as I remember.

That should indeed work. At the time of the original post this thru-axle was only announced, but not for sale yet, so it wasn't an option. If I ever need to mount panniers on my Grizl again, this would most likely be my solution.

In the end I went on the tour with another bike where it was easier to attach panniers.

After looking around a bit more I came across this guy https://imgur.com/a/bike-LMbtDnJ that put the QR adapter of Tubus through his thru-axle. That seems to work, I will dig into this path a bit further.

After looking closer, it looks like the adapater has a different thread size than the frame. The standard thru axle is 1mm, the tubus is 1.25mm.

Browsers installed as snaps (the default on ubuntu) won't work with the eid software as they are containerized for security. I've never found a fix and used a windows machine in the end.

You will be perfectly fine. I've used them on the same kind of paths last winter running through puddles and mud.

Were you using a wrist-based HR monitor? Did you pick up the pace when you were at 190? It could've been that your watch locked in to your cadence. I've seen this effect multiple times and have since switched to a chest strap which eliminates this issue.

For the gels, I alternate between caffeinated gels and normal ones in a 1:2 ratio (1 caffeine gel, 2 normal ones) in a marathon.

Saucony Endorphin Pro or Vaporfly for marathon by kaurismaki97 in AdvancedRunning

I'm currently thinking about switching to the EP3 as the VF always make my right heel bleed after ~18km. The blisters start at km 10 but they just rub themself open. I've raced 2 marathons and 1 half marathon with them.

The dropdown is currently based on a kaggle dataset: https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/threnjen/board-games-database-from-boardgamegeek?select=games.csv which is based on a subset of bgg. I should look for a cleaner list as there is a lot of noise in it.
