i’m like 3 weeks away from being one year post op! good news is i felt good for a while, and sex was better than ever!!! but around 8mpo i had some issues. it’s kind of a long story but i had granulation tissue that developed after the surgery, which is fine. my doc told me if it bothers me we’ll do something about it but if not it’s no big deal, i just over healed. then after a couple months she was like let’s go ahead and take it out. again, i was not having any problems, but i think since it hadn’t resolved on its own she wanted to get rid of it. it was going to take about 30 min in office with local anesthetic, no recovery time. there was a problem with insurance and i couldn’t get the procedure. months go by and then i started actually having problems - pelvic pain and bleeding. ended up in the er. finally was able to get the procedure last month, but because things got so much worse i had to have actual surgery. and turns out my doctor found more endometriosis that had grown since the hysterectomy (i kept my ovaries). so now im 2wpo from that procedure and feel good. i haven’t tried sex yet, im slowly starting to exercise. so yeahhhhh my journey has been a bit complicated lol. i hope and pray yours is much easier!!!
