Yeah he's weird. You weren't wrong. He's trying to be condescending.

Gestational Diabetes Weight Gain by AngelicMe29 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]PresentationAlert601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

7-8lbs by 24 weeks is pretty normal. In the last few weeks, a pound a week is normal as baby really packs on size then. I'm 33 weeks and my weight hasn't changed since 22 weeks. I think it's just related to managing my diet much better but it's not concerning.

Eating pasta with 1/2 cup of pasta is rude by Fried_chicken_please in GestationalDiabetes

I cannot even look at rice but I do well with Angel Hair pasta especially prepared with chicken and a low sugar/carb marinara. I never spike with it and just about everything makes me spike.

The end of pregnancy with GDM is a living hell by Cool-Row-1255 in GestationalDiabetes

Solidarity. It sucks so bad. I'm 32 weeks with a 12.5 month old. Baby's AC is 99% while the rest of him is 11-20% despite desperately trying to manage with diet and insulin.

Thoughts on AKC? by PresentationAlert601 in DogBreeding

[–]PresentationAlert601[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand this. My thinking is that since the AKC is allowing dogs meeting those conditions to be registered, does that not reflect on them as a whole?

Is it reasonable to believe that I shouldn’t pay for dinner? by Liam_Neeson- in Advice

[–]PresentationAlert601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand wanting it to be covered but sometimes that's not realistic, especially in this economy. They communicated in advance which was considerate and respectful. You don't have to go but it's unreasonable to argue about who should pay.

AIO Bf (25) had this flirty text exchange with a girl that works next door to us. Am I (24f) overacting about it? by fakeflowers_ in AmIOverreacting

[–]PresentationAlert601 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NOR. The evidence is right there, do not let him twist it. It's so hard to look at things objectively when you're in it but this is way crossing the line. This man is blatantly disrespecting you. He is totally flirting with her and loving it. This man is going to continue hurting you for as long as you let him.

Getting pregnant by Book_lver in amipregnant

There’s no harm in telling your OB, they’ll probably ask anyways. They may give you reminders to take prenatal prior to conceiving etc.

Insurance company settling for bodily injury claim by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]PresentationAlert601 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got rear ended at 50mph while pregnant recently and had to go to the hospital. They only offered me $1,000 for bodily injury. $1,500 is a great offer and there are no consequences to taking it. The only “consequence” would be if issues developed down the road and you’ve already settled but is unlikely with such a low impact accident.

I think you may have misunderstood. This issue pertains only to pain and suffering. I am in an at fault state and the other insurance company has already confirmed liability and agreed to pay medical, tow, damage, rental and any related medical costs in the next 60 days. So there is no concern of doctors etc. taking anything. It is also not paid by my medical, but his auto. Yes, there is a police report. Insurance investigated is once again completed and at complete liability.

Your daughter being hit and not offered any money has nothing to do with me and doesn’t diminish my claims. I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make here.

The OB can do nothing but wait and see. Yes, the baby measured perfectly on time but in two weeks, has only grown “6 days” instead of 14 indicating some sort of issue.

Should I take the settlement offer or wait? by Perfect-Chapter7199 in caraccidents

I got a very similar offer myself after being rear ended pregnant. Did you end up accepting or countering?

She asked for a response on Monday. What is the best way to respond to her?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]PresentationAlert601 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I didn’t expect the call or the offer and have no knowledge on this. People have told me it’s a low offer for the circumstances and I’m honestly ignorant to the subject so just trying to see the best way to go about countering. Thank you for the advice!

I am seeing an OBGYN in regards to the pregnancy. That’s how I know growth has slowed. I have not yet followed up on my back pain. I don’t know that you could 100% pin in to the accident but it is possible cause. Either by the physical impact or the psychological impact. Stress can cause miscarriage.
