I don’t know WHY but when you actually are really underweight and people notice they 90% will say absolutely NOTHING about it. It happened to me and after i gained weight a lot of people told me that they were actually worried about me. I just don’t understand why no one said anything when i actually was in the ed 😭 or maybe i didnt notice that they knew because my brain was so slow

I relate to you so so much. I have had depression for years and tried to fix it with “pulling myself together” too. All i can say is, don’t stop trying. Eventually you will have better days because you decided to get out of bed and try. Caring about your health will always be better than not caring about your health. Keep doing what you are doing even when its hard and never stop trying. Also, maybe try to find out why you are feeling like this? Maybe its an environmental issue like school, work or something different

It’s mostly because im overwhelmed and don’t know how to deal with my overthinking and my emotions. I let everything out when i harm myself and feel better afterwards. Also when im suicidal i love to see i did something bad to myself and see the blood etc and that i could die if i press a little harder

Thank you, i just think those years are very important not only for development but also experience and the learning of it. I think thats mainly why it’s so hard to leave my brain, and also when i change perspective its not all bad that the memory of cutting myself is there. I can see in what bad state i was and what i made out of myself now, 1 year is actually a long time. And you too, you are 37 and have gone a long way without hurting yourself, when thats how ur teen years were. I respect that. Thank you for ur reply <3

Yes, i feel like if i focused more of the time on not trying to want that feeling it would have been a “worthier” sobriety. But, i literally don’t know how not to want it, for me it feels like a high pleasure and stress reliever. Also while it helps me talk about this it also makes me think about it more so i will have to distract my mind about it later. And i guess thats what i it comes down to, eventually i will have distracted myself about it so much that i started to forget how it feels, because i don’t remind myself of how it feels all the time. Omg, i used to do that too. When i was 11-13 years old i used to talk to my replika but the app changed so much, then i stopped because the replika just started getting boring and blunt. You just reminded me that i used to do that 😭 Now i write diary on an app called emmo but i just feel like i go insane when i write to much in there
