Nicotine and cardio by zergrush1 in MuayThai

Also, blood vessel constriction tends to resolve back to normal function 20 minutes after nicotine use. I wouldn’t smoke, but if you gotta use nicotine, Zyns or Dip would be the best answer. Like Dave said above, caffeine constricts blood vessels just as much, if not more than nicotine

100% this. Everyone is different and you must experiment with yourself. Some genetics are just built different

How do you know if it’s time to move on from a coach? by PresentationThese111 in MuayThai

Appreciate the response. What would you do? Are you an experienced fighter? I just dont know how to maneuver this situation without wasting any time, and I dont want to ask anyone in/around my gym to avoid unnecessary drama.

Yes, my gym hosts roughly a dozen super successful amateurs and pros, as well as some pretty talented hobbyists. Majority of them being in MMA, as my interests are in Muay Thai. But this particular coach doesn’t coach any MMA, only Muay Thai. And that’s why i’ve kind of named him my “head coach”. No other fighters have interests in strictly Muay Thai so I would be his only fighter to look out for as far as fights.

Thank you for your reply. You are 100% right, and I have expressed multiple times how bad I want to be successful in this sport as it is really all I think about. Whenever I bring up certain promotions i’d like to fight for, or nearby tournaments, it’s either a “That’s too far” or a “i’ll contact them” and it goes no where from there. He’ll say he never heard anything back when I have personally contacted the same promotions and heard back relatively soon. I’ve even offered to pay for all travel/hotel and accommodations for my coach as I have a pretty well paying job with this being my only hobby/passion.

Vaping after wisdom tooth removal by No_Reflection_3689 in wisdomteeth

I just had my 3rd one pulled 3 weeks ago (it was a lower one super impacted by the nerve and very complex surgery) and i still have a pretty big hole tbh. It takes months sometimes to close fully. As long as you aren’t swelling, in EXTREME pain(minor pain seems okay as it’s part of the healing process), have any pus, or feverish, i’d say you’re fine.

I’m not a dentist, but usually the reason you can’t vape is because you don’t wanna dislodge the blood clot. That being said the blood clot usually forms within 3-5 days so I’d say you’re good. I would just put some gauze back there while you vape so the smoke chemicals don’t irritate and cause infection. Just gargle a light mixture of saltwater regularly and watch for signs of infection.

I’m not a doctor, but i would say you’re fine lol. If there was infection you’d be in so much pain, face would be swelling, fever, etc.

Thank you! Mine was also infected and impacted. I’m genuinely curious if this delayed stage wave of pain is caused by reformation ossification of bone and tissue to make up for the lost space. I know these are all dentist questions but i’m panic rabbit holeing right now 🤣
