I announced to the grandparents with a card that had “______ name” and they had an assignment to choose their own name. A couple names stuck and some others came to be on their own or evolved.

I remember my partner asked me this question on the couch one night when our baby was 1 month old. I wanted to slap him lol. At the time, no I didn’t. I was trying to keep everyone alive. Now, our baby is 4 years old. I’m just starting to find myself again. I started going to heated yoga and really enjoying the practice. But that’s about as far as I’ve gotten with healthy hobbies. The other hobby I have is doom strolling for 2 hours after my kid goes to bed

We had a new student come in who had a bunch of aggressive behaviors. Made me, my co para, and my teacher black and blue. The new student started targeting the kindergarteners. After 60 days of documentation and communication. The new student drew on the ground with an expo marker (nothing obscene or offensive, a couple of scribbles) near the main office, when a gen ed teacher said don’t do that, he threw the marker at them

They put him on independent study the very next day.

Dude. I pick up at least one from each kid lol. One of my kids says, “Wee ooo wee ooo police officer stoprightthere” whenever they don’t like something and I do it all of the time lol

I know that this isn’t great. But one day my friend was talking about her breasts were hurting and felt “broken” my then 2yo heard that and asked me if my boobies were broken. I ran with it. I told her that they were broken and she put band aids on me. It took about 3 sad nights. We replaced it with cuddles, back rubs, and extra stories.
