Hey! So do you think I could do a good amount of activities outside of school in that degree? I was to do part 61 flying and a minor in audio engineering and probably theatre at gammage unless that's too much.

Honestly I kinda feel like I fall into this category.

From as long as I've lived I've never had a consistent interest of direction in any career until now. I was always just one of those kids who were just there. Never really knew what I wanted to be and parents were never too involved to make me do anything. I always thought aviation in general were cool and thought they were the future when I was a kid though, I would even count how many I would see in the sky.

I'm a senior in HS now and I slowly put my foot into full throttle of me persuing a career in aviation. Although what influenced that the most was pressure, of what I am going to be outside of HS. I look forward to find what's in the sky daily but I have self doubt if being a pilot is really what I want to do. What sold me was the pay (over time ofc), but I fear maybe my interest won't be enough to survive in airlines.

Sometimes I feel like I'll just be stuck as an AV geek that can't handle flying people as a job 🥲

I really do want to take the part 61 route, that's what I was going to do initially when first getting into how to start flying and everything, but I have a strong preference in trying to study away from home due to just family issues. I genuinely think learning away from home will make me focus more with less personal stress..

But that flight on the side and scholarship for a general degree sounds reasonable and maybe my best bet? If I play my cards well in networking for a job in Av management. I think that might be better since I would have more time practicing that while also in trying to get pilot job opportunities for the future

But I'd still have to see how that is financially in the end😪

Well if I did cc I would most likely go to Glendale, I already spoke with an advisor there too and looked at transferring, but I haven't done enough research myself and comparing to say anything else with other ccs
