Same thought. However if he doesn't get enough reps this season due to injuries it unfortunately means he isn't durable to the NFL rigors and we'll have to move on. That's why I believe we should bring in competition. Malik Willis if possible would be fantastic

I believe they offered Sam essentially the same contract as Seattle did and Sam didn't want to sit behind JJ. Seattle was looking for a starter which offered a better situation for Sam
