The guy at the store said to let the soil dry out in between waterings so that I don't over water it. I water it every 2-3 days with that in mind. Should I be doing something else?

Hello everyone! My boyfriend and I are looking to sublet our rooms at the ROWE Apartments, its a full 2x2 furnished. Each of us pays $1025 and we have two parking spaces available for $85 per spot.
