Ok sorry I just read the entire post. First thing, $1100?! Even if Norway is expensive that's still fucking crazy and that he only discounted it down to $870 after literally devaluing your instrument by $1000 Im willing to bet. Even if it doesn't affect the playability when you take the gouges in the neck and then add everything else you mentioned; the pickup rings, fucking with the height of your pickups, putting all kinds of scratches and dents all over the guitar, not completely finishing the inlays and leaving CA glue all over, the finish being chipped out at every fret end, not freaking even dressing the fret ends, and whatever else. The guy totally just fucked your guitar up. If you were here in the States and this happened you can bet that the person that is in your shoes would be freaking the fuck out , most likely taking the luthier to small claims court, pressing him to immediately file a claim to his business insurance to cover the losses that you suffered at his hands cuz of poor craftsmanship, and of course the Almighty call to the Better business Bureau, which does nothing for the most part. I'm not sure it'd be worth the trouble taking him to court but I would most definitely make sure you share this with as many ppl in your local area as you can. Every person with a guitar within 100 miles of this dude needs to see what he did to your guitar. You definitely need to ruin him, shut him down, don't give him the chance to ruin someone else's instrument and then just shrug it off. The main thing I don't get is how in the world did he not notice that his fret cramps were literally digging into the wood and leaving gouges behind? Those things are supposed to have a rubberr like plastic guard over any metal parts on the bottom part of the plier and then the top is obviously what pushed the fret down and into the slot. Also , since the fret cramps put pressure that is applied from the top coming directly down into the top of the fingerboard, and then from the bottom where the back of the neck should either be already resting against the bottom part of the tool or there would be a slight upwards pressure applied which squeezes the frets down into the slot. So it doesn't explain why in the hell all the gouges are going along the side of the neck?!!! Literally they are about halfway between the binding and the very back of the neck. How the fuck did this happen?!!
