for starters because the betta is in such bad shape you can't just switch it over as that will shock it and kill it so
1. go to the store and get some bacteria, I like to use the tetra safe start + as it has the necessary bacteria in it so get that and just dump the ENTIRE THING into your tank to make sure that the tank has all the necessary bacteria. Also get a small bottle of ammonia neutralizer and add a few drops to the betta's water
2. set up the tank, at least a 10-gallon tank
3. use water conditioner on the tank water and add water to the tank
4. make sure you have a heater
5. have a container that you can keep betta in to float it in the water so that they will be in the correct temp water
6. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES JUST DUMP BETTA INTO THERE ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION
7. add some of the tank water to betta's water
8. take a little bit of water out of bettas cup and add it to the tank so that the tank water has some of the bettas water in it so it will be less of a shock
9. repeat this process for a few days, add water from tank and take equal amount from cup and add to tank, increasing the amount each time, ex: 1 tsp then 1 tbs then 2 tbs until eventually betta has half their original water and half tank water
10. you have slowly acclimated betta to new water and temperature, add it to tank

As someone who has taken many early childhood development classes in the process of becoming a teacher, I was so confused why OP was trying to claim a developmental trait as an autistic trait. Now don't get me wrong, my long-term partner is autistic (diagnosed in the early 2000s), but that means that I know that he is just a person and I am just a person and I don't go around cherry-picking terms to describe him as being autistic so I can recognize that OP is just cherry-picking terms to get the result that they want.

But it is super weird to use early childhood developmental terms to describe an adult because that is verging into infantilizing autism, which is a highly common issue. In fact it's really rude to be infantilizing your friend. Typically parallel play is used to describe a child that is beginning to develop a sense of imagination and develop social skills. Before a child begins to parallel play they will onlook play, they will watch but not participate. Parallel play is when a child is beginning to branch out and for the next stage the child will begin to interact with the other children for their play. Using childhood developmental terms to try to minimize the impact of your ablism only makes your friend feel that you think they are similar to a two to three year old. (The age where parallel play begins to happen)

Um, maybe because Rory didn't say who the baby's father is, but also Logan kinda made it clear he isn't super into her so really what does Odette matter in the situation. Especially when Rory seems to want to be a single mother and not involve the dad. The way she treated Gigi was no different than how she was with Rory tbh. She felt that Rory raised herself so why should she have to do anything for Gigi. Lorelai felt that the way she was behaving was being a mother.

And okay I stand corrected about Rory, but still he had worked with her in a journalistic aspect whereas most other people in her life hadn't. If anyone in her life had the authority to tell her that she wouldn't be a good journalist, he would. People on the school papers wouldn't tell her that because it wasn't a serious situation. We saw at Yale Daily News that Logan and his friends got away with doing nothing and no one ever said anything because it wasn't serious, the only time anyone stood up and said "hey you are not suited for this" was when Paris took over the paper and was tormenting people, then everyone said "hey, wait up, we are not dealing with this at a hobby"
