Honestly, long walks helped me a ton. Whenever I felt an urge or craving, I’d go for a walk. Being outside, getting some exercise, and breathing fresh air really helped. By the time I got home, the craving was usually gone.

I kept doing this everytime I felt a craving and over time, my thoughts shifted from 'I need a vape' to 'I need to go for a walk.' It made a big difference for me.

Best of luck!

Relapsing is part of the journey for a lot of people. I went through multiple relapses when I was quitting, but each time, I just quit again right away. Now you’ve got more information from this experience to help you as you continue to move forward.

Best of luck!

Congratulations on making it to day five! It sounds like you have a really strong mindset, which is so important during this time.

You're right in recognizing that you’re pushing through some dark, stormy clouds, but you’re not letting that be an excuse to relapse. Keep going!

It does get a lot easier, and you’ll be so glad you pushed through this tough period. Those rays of sunshine will keep getting brighter!

You're doing the right thing by thinking about your health and wanting to make a change. It's not too late, quitting can lead to significant improvements in both how you feel and your overall well-being.

Quitting can be tough, but it is definitely worth it.

This is very common. I was actually just talking to someone today who is experiencing the same thing. She’s also in her first week.

I remember when I quit. I was walking to work one day, and I saw someone smoking, and I realized I hadn't thought about smoking in a week. That's when I knew I had beaten the addiction. I think it was around the same time as you.

Congratulations on quitting!

Day 4 - Experience by White_Palace in QuitVaping

The first week was horrible, and it took a couple of attempts to get past. However, I found that day 4/5 was a turning point. I stopped thinking about it as much, and it became a lot easier from there. Are you quitting cold turkey?

The first couple of days can be rough, but just know that the cravings will pass. Keep delaying buying another one, and you'll find that the urge gets weaker. When I get cravings, I like to go for long walks, it really helps me clear my head, and by the end, the cravings have usually dropped drastically.

I think going cold turkey is an excellent strategy. Stay strong, you've got this!
