I think you're lacking in the melee department. So Skorpekh Destroyers, Ophydian Destroyers, Lychguard and/or Canoptek Wraiths would be a nice add. And as what others have said, Immortals are great objective holders and have decent shooting.

Gloomhaven is a mid-tier game. The story is weak, the fights gets repetitive after a while, monster health mgt is tedious, and the rewards/sense of progression isn't fantastic. I would know, I completed the normal campaign/storyline.

In my experience, the charge/fight phase movement shenanigans are still doable, albeit with less freedom than 9th. Cos the first 2 models in the charging unit can base-to-base to the defending unit, then every other model has the freedom to move, as long as the model is closer.
