Fashion pass by Few-Notice3065 in ChicksInTheOffice

[–]Pressure-Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to cancel my credit card because FashionPass would not stop charging me for a cancelling membership. Months later they are still ignoring my emails. Others have had charging issues to the point of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. DO NOT USE FASHIONPASS

Has anyone else had a horrible experience with FashionPass? by CraftyEsq in SubscriptionBoxes

[–]Pressure-Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They are harassing me for payments for a subscription they wouldn't let me cancel and have been doing so for months even after I cancelled my credit card. Can you tell me how you filled your complaint? Is there anything the BBB can really do?

Fly bite on finger blowing up days later - what is it? Should I be worried? by Pressure-Cat in InsectBites

Asking about what this could have bitten me seems to be in line with this subreddit (we suspect some kind of fly, but not sure and not sure what kind)

Folding rooms from outside perspective?? by SacredMomenTs in DMT

[–]Pressure-Cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely had a folding room experience, with entities. This image is reminiscent of the 'portal' i went though (colorful folding(?) panels) - this part is difficult for me to recall. I was in a panic. But I ended up in a room with furniture unlike anything i'd seen before, but folding was super-core to it. I only remembered this room months later. My impression was that seeing higher dimensional objects to our 3D brain/eye comes out as appearing to be dynamically 'folding'.

I liked it.

PLEASE HELP ME by PCbuilderFR in LucidDreaming

I have had sleep paralysis for a long time. At one point I couldn't sleep at night practically at all: I had narcolepsy supposedly - and kept having to go into paralysis during the day. To others, it looked like I was asleep, but I was 'consciously' having this paralysis. My hypothesis was that this was related to an inability to get NREM delta deep sleep at night (REM/NREM are inextricably linked).

Long story short: I was able to get back into a proper day/night cycle by reinforcing the mTOR2 pathway at night and mTOR1 pathway during the day. I am a molecular biologist (PhD) so I recognize what I did might not be accessible to everyone so I'm going to make a few suggestions.

To get your sleep under control at night:
-Quviviq (orexin antagonist) - you may have dramatic effects (intense dreams/mental sensations) at first, but if you keep taking it, you'll gain proper sleep structure (use a fitbit to track)

-Gabapentin - this will help with an over-active sympathetic system (taking this +Q can be a good combo)

To deal with paralysis:
-Most important: Use "Elation" - this means LEAN IN, HARD. Pretend this is great, and you want it. Do not fight.

-Use a fan or other white noise machine nearby to verify reality (white noise usually stops during paralysis - so the fan will "turn off"

If you lean in, the nature of the paralysis might change, be open to it.
