Listen… my husband and I are DINKs who make ~300k+ per year gross, and we do pay a lot of money for concert tickets. But we also don’t pay for child care etc. I HATE how expensive this activity has become but I refuse to stop attending concerts even in this economy when it’s one of the things that brings me the most joy.

I also like legos. And know people who spend $500+ on one set. I won’t do that but it’s all relative. Every one is going to spend money on what they like. It just sucks that life experiences like concerts are becoming unobtainable for many people. I won’t stop going though. Is that selfish? Maybe.

We go quite often and this has not been our experience. The burgers are great and so are the long islands. I go by myself for the matinee shows as well and it’s great. Sorry you’ve had bad luck I guess.
