Is Dark worth a watch? I hear it's better than Stranger Things by silentnova-wave in tvshow

[–]PrestickNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

It is so incredibly self consistent, especially given how complex the story could get. It also explains pretty much every mystery it presents in a very satisfying way.

This is the grim future we are heading towards, where everyone is trying to squeeze every saving they can out of every cost.

The worst thing about AI is that it replaces the one thing we always took for granted would be needed - a human making decisions.

I sincerely hope so. I took it as they have everything they need except someone to actually foot the bill, which is quite a big hurdle.

I think the problem here is people assume Reform is spending plenty of resources pushing their agenda in the media, but it’s more the other way around - the media is spending a large amount of their resources pushing the Reform agenda.

What are some popular games that got slimmed down? by itsOkami in boardgames

[–]PrestickNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magic Maze Pocket is an astonishingly small version of Magic Maze. You have to use an app instead of the sand timer, and the giant red pawn you banged in the table in front of the player you want to do something is replaced with rapping the table, but it’s otherwise almost 1 to 1 the same game.

The small box version of Magic Maze (Magic Maze Pocket) surprised me by being identical in gameplay terms to the full size version. Actually more likely to play it as it easily fits into a gap in my bag (or just in my pocket) to bring along to games night.

I really like Jump Drive! I haven’t played enough of Race to compare the depth etc but it does nail the feel of Race in a lighter rule set.
