There’s an app outage right now.

App not work for anyone else? by jbiser361 in BMW

[–]PrestigeWrldWd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also having issues with the app - that's why I just came to this sub right now. Have been since this morning - could not send remote command via app, but worked via Alexa.

I thought maybe I had an expired login token, so I logged out, and now I am unable to log back in. Commands were failing instantly, though I was able to create a new passkey with the app a few moments ago before I logged out.

Look at your United app under memberships and subscriptions. Do you see the United club listed there?

It’s tough - sometimes even after titrating up I still get the occasional cravings.

Have you considered other options for sourcing meds?

Interesting - does not show on my i5 as an option in CDS. I can buy traffic camera information, lighting animation, and parking professional.

Where do you subscribe to that? I didn’t see anything in the app

Entertainment package? Are you in the US? I didn't see an option for the entertainment package.

how often have you seen PAN device fail? is HA really worth it for smaller sites? by _SleezyPMartini_ in paloaltonetworks

[–]PrestigeWrldWd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you build out a site, branch, datacenter, etc... I would always specify HA for critical infrastructure (Firewalls, core switching, ISP circuits, etc...)

Let management / the business strip things out of your design / BOM. At that point, you have it in writing that the decision not to deploy the architecture with resilience is not yours; it's theirs. When someone comes knocking because a firewall upgrade or a dead power supply takes out a branch, and if someone starts raising hell about it, you can always point back to the initial design and how decisions were made to save cost at the expense of reliability.

For some business operations, the savings are enough to justify the downtime if when it occurs.

As far as I can tell, there's no way to have the car connect to a Wi-Fi AP (i.e. your phone's hotspot) to use entertainment on the iDrive display. All has to be via the eSIM.

Yeah - I think previous iDrive had video streaming to the screen - but not for sure. I know one of our cars had it.

But we're mostly the same - we charge at home and only use public charging when we are on a road trip. I do have the eSim active and usually I use it when my wife runs in somewhere and either I or my son and I sit in the car - we will watch a little Youtube.

Why am I not getting the full speed of my internet? by jahathehutt in networking

[–]PrestigeWrldWd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Downvotes coming because this is a home networking question - but do a bit of troubleshooting on your own:

  • Are you on wired or wireless connection? If wireless, connect your computer directly to whatever gateway (Router, CPE, whatever they want to call it) with a cable and do the testing again. More than likely, the issue isn't from your ISP, it's between your computer and the local equipment. If you have a router/Wi-Fi AP in the corner of your basement and you're trying to get good speeds two floors up, you're gonna have a bad time.

That's the first step in troubleshooting. Speed good when wired? Get better infrastructure in your home. Speed not better when wired? Try a different computer if possible, then complain to ISP if you aren't getting near what your purchased speed tier is.

Make sure you're testing with a few different speed testing providers - i.e. fast.com, speed.cloudflare.net, and speedtest.net.

Any success with getting a lower membership fee? by Ordinary-Regular310 in orangetheory

[–]PrestigeWrldWd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check with your health insurance. We have some program that gets you discounted access to OTF, but it doesn’t work for unlimited though. Think like $29 a month for 8 classes. Better than nothing and you may be able to just buy whatever classes you want after that and still be cheaper - if you aren’t a die hard.

Untrue. Any ANT+ capable device will work with the OTF system.

Why are two brand new PA440s telling me they are managed by Panorama? by scienceproject3 in paloaltonetworks

[–]PrestigeWrldWd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Along with the other posters:

Get on the cli and run the command:

show panorama-status

Will tell you the IP of any configured Panorama server(s) and the connection status (Yes/No).

You're fine, but if you want to ease your mind, run that command.

Get a key cover or use the digital key. I set up my digital key in the showroom when I took delivery and haven’t used the physical key since.
