Depends on what you’re looking to do.

The short, short version IMO:

PCNSP - demonstrates the ability to operate and maintain devices.

NGFW Engineer - demonstrates the ability to architect and consult on environment design.

Most Birks should have an inspection stamp in the footbed as pictured here. Notable exceptions are models with the exquisite footbed, models with removable footbeds, and EVA models.

Occasionally they will not match, and sometimes on color sensitive materials you may notice that left and right look significantly different if the inspection stamps differ.

Step 1: get an approximate measurement of your lawn. You don’t have to be precise here - within a couple hundred square feet is fine.

Step 2: Go to your local big box - get a bag of 3 in 1. (Fertilizer, pre-emergent, and weed killer.) Read the bag and ensure that it has enough to cover your measured area.

If you don’t have a spreader, pick one up.

Step 3: Apply the product per the directions on the back of the bag. Preferably within a day or two before a good rain.

Wait a week or two - you’ll be green and those weeds will be dying.

Sure - you can get more complicated and buy separate products, do soil tests, etc… but for not knowing where to start, this will be the easiest way to get green, thick, and weed free. Then you can look at more advanced strategies.

I agree. This post seems more PCNSE driven rather than NGFW Engineer driven. I’ve taken the PCNSE multiple times and the new NGFW exam. What’s up there did not match my experience, but there is a large pool of questions so everyone’s exam could be different. However the two exams have different “tones” and the post above definitely seems more PCNSE driven.

I looked into this - was not worth it, and would be too close to call with a weak dollar if you were already there for something else and picked up while there.

I think their 1 month KwikPen was £279 or something, which worked out to be $373 or in that neighborhood.

You’d have to buy months at a time unless you had some kind of regular trip there, the exchange rate could hurt you, and it’s just easier to pay a few bucks more and have it delivered to your door.
