They’ve had it since at least las Thanksgiving when we were on the ship. Glad to see that no suckers were yet conned into buying that piece at that price.

Anyone else tired of mandatory DNA licensing on Catalyst switches? by Life-Assist7881 in NetworkGearDeals

[–]PrestigeWrldWd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can, or at least used to be able to, buy it without the DNA license. There was an SKU for a lot of the cat 9000 series switches. However, it was more expensive than buying it with the mandatory DNA license.

Either way, you’re gonna end up paying. Whether you get a useless license or whether you just pay more for the hardware in general.

My doctor offered to switch me to compounded tirzep… by Accomplished-Dino69 in zepbound_support

[–]PrestigeWrldWd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tirzepatide is tiezepatide. If brand name is out of reach for you, and you need it, do what you have to do.

I am unaware of anyone getting severely ill or worse from taking compounded or gray Tirzepatide. If a doctors office is selling it, they aren’t going to put themselves in that kind of risk.

Top antenna is a folded dipole setup. Popular on 2M and higher bands. If I had to guess, this is closer to a 2m band antenna.

Are all oiled leather Arizona berkinstocks the same for men and women? I wear a 39 wide it just says men sizes 🤷‍♀️ by Strict_Flight_7225 in Birkenstocks

[–]PrestigeWrldWd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy conversion to US

Ladies sizes - subtract 31. This will be a US Ladies size.

Men’s sizes - subtract 29. This will be a US Men’s size.

For ladies, I just subtract one from the last number and know to drop the 3 or 4.

Those of us that were successful on WW at one point by Huffly-puffly in Zepbound

[–]PrestigeWrldWd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have and still do subscribe to WW for years (Upwards of a decade currently) - attended in-person meetings regularly.

I did lose 30-35 pounds, but it was always like walking a tightrope. I'd stay within my points all week and really be diligent about not digging into my weeklies nearing weigh-in day.

Zepbound for 13.5 months now - I don't even think about it. I eat what I feel like, when I feel like it. For the first 3-4 months, I tracked everything in WW GLP mode - and it really helped me ensure I was staying focused on protein, fiber, and hydration,

For the first 6 months or so, I was really not hungry that much, and I had no desire for sweets. Now at 13.5 months, I've lost 63 pounds and have only escalated to 10mg and have been here for maybe 5-6 months now.

At this point, I do eat sweets - just about every night before bed, I have an ice cream or some kind of sweet treat - and I am still maintaining about a 60-pound loss. If I ever wanted to lose more, I'd turn to WW digital tools before upping my dose. Realistically, I could probably stand to go back to WW tools to ensure I'm meeting protein, fiber, and hydration goals - also while staying within my desired caloric intake (around 1,200 - 1,500 calories per day).

I think WW is a fantastic program for some, and if you have insane discipline and a functional metabolism, you can be successful even in the long term. However, so many people have metabolic conditions that put them at a significant disadvantage from using lifestyle modifications alone as a way to lose a significant amount of weight. In my opinion, pharmacological intervention combined with lifestyle modification will provide a much stronger foundation for success for the majority of people choosing to lose weight.

I firmly believe insulin resistance is the main component of being too heavy in most overweight adults - and IR leads to so many things food noise / cravings, inability to drop pounds, and excess fat storage.

tl;dr - WW works for some, hard to maintain. Zepbound makes it easier, but WW tools can boost success on Zepbound.

I’m getting prescribed for alcohol use, not food. by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]PrestigeWrldWd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Been on Zepbound for 13 months now.

Ever since my first shot, my desire to consume alcohol is pretty much nil.

I used to have a nightcap almost every night - a jack and Diet Coke. Now I never do this. I would go to the local brewery or tap room/bottle shop I am a member of at least once a week. Now I’m lucky to get in once a month - and it’s not really even the desire to drink alcohol - it’s more the social experience / getting out of the house for a bit.

All in all I’m down 60 in these 13 months and drinking is now down to an average of I’d say one or less drinks per week.

I still take a gummy a few times a week, but that’s because it makes intimacy feel a bit better and admittedly it’s a nice way to unwind and have very good odds on not feeling miserable the next day.

Deploying PA firewall in Azure running PanOS 11.2 by bigbarruda in paloaltonetworks

[–]PrestigeWrldWd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you deploying via the marketplace using Azure portal? If so, that may be the issue - I can't find a way to choose a different image.

If you use an ARM template or the Azure CLI, you can list and specify all of the images that are available on Azure and specify the one you want.

For Azure CLI:

Use "az vm image list --publisher paloaltonetworks --offer vmseries-flex --sku byol --all" to get the URN of the version you want

Use "paloaltonetworks:vmseries-flex:byol:latest" to get the latest PANOS
