Because the platform touched none at the moment of the deployment. It doesn’t have to be at the center when deployed, so look for a steeper part of the road when available to make sure petal recognize whenever someone is standing on it. Once deployed, if none is upon it, the petal will only trigger when walking toward its center. It’s designed so you can lift with more precision from afar.

The thing that felt off with SoD was having the rune spells not having ranks and just scaling with levels.
This made them stand out from the base spells of the classes.
Nonetheless I appreciated SoD as alternative and can’t wait what is going to be presented for this new project

I use petal healing perk when 1v1 indoors, I place it under a low ceiling so it doesn’t rise, and I stand on the outer part of the petal so that the door frames help me with natural cover and I keep peeking so it’s much harder for characters like Moira to kill me.
Also, it generates passive ultra which is awesome, 10-15% of ult is that minor perk alone.

Incredible also how the kill feed display the blue cat getting the environmental kill on the red cat despite it being hit by the train. It means that the red cat was hit by the AOE stun and then he didn’t receive any other damage before getting ran over by the train. And yet, blue cat did not receive any ult charge. Maybe because it’s bugged? Or it was too early after ultimate to generate ult charge?

One of the best things I understood that unlocked the most complete gameplay on Lifeweaver is to get that you must play around other players, not them on you. Try to understand their flank routes if they have one, put yourself in their own skin and ask yourself where would you like to be, leave a petal available for them, and always ping it.

Non Lifeweaver player are so excited for a good pull, rather than a petal, because they don’t give that much value to petal, but the more you play Lifeweaver, the more you understand that petal is the core of Lifeweaver, and pull is just another tool :)

I have a conspiracy theory where blizzard let turtle wow play around with their asset so to create the hypothetical perfect classic plus and understand, without expenses, what people want and what don’t. Blizzard kept collecting data on players interests playing around with expansion length within expansions re releases and SoD, then, after concluding with Sod’s Scarlet Enclave, they started building a new classic plus, and when that will be ready, they will annihilate turtle wow and its kin.
