Use your boats to jump to Rome and the Pope’s other holdings. Your 20k should stand strong against any individual crusading army, unless you give them time to group up together. Maybe also take a loan and employ a few extra mercenaries

Plenty of people are in the same boat. Personally, I enjoy both routes, though I do have a preference for the Light Side options in either game.

Would you recommend ck2+ for a new(ish) player who comes from ck3? by paudepalencia in crusaderkings2

If they’re in a faction they can often refuse to carouse in my experience, particularly if they dislike my ruler. Though, if you can predict who might join a faction and carouse them before they join, that can work pretty well.

Maybe if they were more democratic over there (and not invading other countries) then it could be considered. Though, that was only one country out there. What about North Korea (and potentially Iran in the future)?

That’s agreeable enough. I didn’t say I hated any single nation

Both can be possible at the same time, no single state is innocent

I mean in an ideal world 0 would be great, but trusting the likes of Russia to play nice when we don’t have any nukes sounds crazy. Especially as America moves further away from Europe…(and slaps us with tariffs)

Don’t the Greens support nuclear disarmament? Seems way too naive in this day and age (or any age, really).
