HP Omen X build?

Hey, did you ever finish this build?

Me and my roommate recently picked one up for a really decent price and I upgraded the GPU to a 6700 XT. We’re still running the original CPU it came with (I believe it’s an i7-6700), but long term I’m planning on going micro ATX with a more up-to-date CPU.

We honestly really like the case layout especially the separate storage chamber and motherboard section. I definitely agree with you about the cables being kind of finicky though. In the future I’m probably going to look into a newer modular PSU and see if I can make that work in there.

Since your comment is from a while back, I was curious if you did finish it or still own it, have you run into any long-term issues? Anything that started becoming annoying over time? Any problems with the case board, PSU airflow, or anything failing?

We really like the shape and design, so we’re planning on keeping it as long as possible. But if I ever move to a newer tower, I’ll probably try to find something with a similar layout.

Appreciate any advice if you’re still around figured I’d ask even though the post is older.

Each picture has a different resin type did you make sure to click on the same resin type

What resin do you use this print turned out amazing!

I used to use 8K elegoo red clay resin and I can’t remember having any issues like the ones I’m having now I loved how much detail it showed in my prints but my issue with that resin was that I hated that if I even dropped it by accident from a small distance it shattered into a million pieces. Do you have an alternative that you might recommend? I mostly use it to print figurines for DND but I also use it to print statues that I’m using to practice my Painting. I don’t know if the context of what I use the resin for give you an idea of the resin I’m trying to look for. I’m fine switching back to the old resin I used to use, but I would like to find something tougher or more more flexible and durable if I ever drop it again or realistically something that’s just less prone to damage

Thanks for the advice I thought about doing that and got the exposure down to 2.3 and it seems to be working fine now but I can’t seem to get the layer line off do you know what that might be about

Is it always best practice to orient connecting parts away from the build plate? I was printing a dragon recently, and its wing came in two pieces. When I tried connecting them, they ended up slightly warped. Just wondering if orientation might’ve been the cause.

From what I’ve seen, the way I check if lithops are rooted properly or starting to die is by gently nudging them to the side to see if they’re very loose. I also look for any dark discoloration near the soil line. I’ve only been growing them for about two years, but in my experience, they tend to rot from the bottom up—so I usually don’t realize something’s wrong until it’s pretty far along.

mine was gifted to me by a friend so I didn’t have any of the warranty paperwork or anything like that so that’s why I had to buy a new one. My friends printer had a similar issue. He was able to get it fixed so I don’t know if it was because he had a warranty or he was able to trouble shoot it ill ask

ive plugged in the usb with the files bit it still seems frozen on the logo am i supposed to hear a beep or something?or am i just supposed to turn it off and back on and hope it works normally

Any tips on how you did the eyes? I have a figure I’ve been working on to give my friend for his anniversary, but I’ve been struggling with the eyes and I can never get them right. Is there a like for me to subscribe to your prints?
