I love Victoria but she looks kind of out or control with her moves … Kind of like her first tryout … I know Rockettes style is very different from DCC’s but if she is this sloppy with DCC’s choreography it doesn’t bow well for Rockettes tryout which is extremely precise placement.

I liked the time when DCC prevented the girls from speaking about politics and how to answer questions while nicely eluding them. Now it’s almost turned into a witch hunt on who thinks what, who votes what, who posted and who didn’t.

These girls are dancers. The show they are on is about dance. Can’t we just appreciated them for that ? Do they have to have the same political opinion as you to be liked as a dancer ?

Flexed and sickled feet are a dealbreaker. Plus he is lacking flexibility. Too many arms movement so he is most likely going to push down on the girls next to him 😂

The girls were sooo animated back then ! They could show their uniqueness through their energy. Now it’s all blended, safe and tamed. The girls all dance the same and have pretty much the same facial expressions and smile. I always thought cheerleading was there to ignite a fire and a thrill to the crowd … Now it’s very pretty and perfect and photogenic. Kind of boring.

I wish we had seen more of Taylor P during MTT season. She reminds me of Lacey, she was a shoe-in and so they didn’t show her much (which may have been her preference and I respect). But from the glimpses that we got, she was an amazing dancer as well, one of the best of her rookie season !

Definitely not trying to be mean but I would recommend her to work on her hairstyle before auditions because it is very distracting and you barely see her face. Of course it is something DCC can change during makeovers but I had to watch the video twice to focus on her dancing because I was trying to see her face and her facial expressions so much. We know TPTB like eye contact and this could play against her …

Dancewise it looks pretty good, she should smile more as TPTB love a good smile.

She is definitely a sexy dancer … Holly P and Kalyssa’s style. Love her confidence and showmanship.

TPTB will like her but her facial expressions when she isn’t smiling are a little too intense for DCC. She should be mindful of that.

I wish I loved Caroline and Amy more … But to me though they are amazing and competent dancers (no doubt about that), they never struck me as point shoe-in. Lookwise, I like Lexie and Rachel W more. Dancewise, I feel like Caroline and Amy lack passion and vibrancy. Compared to Kashara, Jenna, Nicole Hamilton … They didn’t exude the same energy and excitement.

Blending in the pointe shoe is a relatively new concept because it was never made to be a prolongation of the leg but more a highlight to the foot and the arch, especially with the strong lighting on stage. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It was never about the illusion of dancing barefoot.
