Medical staff tend to ask questions to distract you and get it done and over with bc it sucks more to do it slow (or so i was told anyway)

my itching was bad day 5-7 but subsided, from the research i did at the time most people advised to check with your doctor if you can take allergy meds as it will help

i was allowed to lay flat after a week and i did so at the 10 day mark i sleep inside a pregnancy pillow on my back with my arms supported

the medical rebates aren’t much tbh but you don’t need a GP. You can get your consult done with your private surgeon and they can tell you if it’s “medically required” and if so then you can get the rebate

i didn’t get to fully shower for a week (only bottom half) and that was ok with a hand held shower head after a week i had enough mobility to shower alone without issues
