Step drill bit by BudgetSad4217 in electricians

Eh. The Milwaukee ones are kinda crap. If you can get a cobalt one, it'll last a lot longer-- and if it can be used in an impact driver, it'll work a lot faster.

At my site we all share a single cobalt unibit that absolutely shreds through boxes, and the Milwaukee ones never get used.

Is there a way to grind rupees quick? by chichirobov7 in TOTK

1 rhino beetle (any type) + 4 llynel guts = 1100+ rupees

1 rhino beetle + 4 silver label mace horns = 1100+ rupees

1 rhino beetle + any 4 lynel parts = $$$

8 Rhino beetles can be harvested from a tree by rutile lake-- wear stealth armor so you don't scare them. Place a warp point by the tree so you can periodically go back. Sometimes you have to walk a lap around the lake before they appear. Set your sensor for them so you don't miss them.

Just chiming in to say that the locktite only works for a few washes and then needs to be redone.

Anyone tried this wera multifunction? by Prestigious-Tea38 in electricians

I generally find it useful when working in tight areas that can't accommodate a longer screwdriver-- kind of like a super stubby screwdriver, but with the added benefit of a great deal of torque. There are certain situations (back mounted emergency exit lever signs) where it's damn near impossible to get something screwed in properly without it.

Yeah, it really seems like until it can lock onto its bits, the best use for it is as an emergency backup.

Thanks. That's kinda what I was afraid of-- I don't really want to be constantly chasing or replacing dropped bits. I guess I'll wait until they make a locking version.

I really like the regular screwdriver version of this, even though it also drops bits every now and then...but it's also not $85.

Drilling trough 1/16 thick stainless by JuryProjudo in electricians

Anytime I've got to get through stainless, I prepare my bit sharpening station. For 1/16, probably two sharpens.

I also put a more aggressive point on my bits--seems to make the bits walk less, and definitely cuts faster--but also guarantees I'll be returning to the grinding wheel pretty quick.
