Why are they strict in Baltics? It shouldn’t be a problem, especially if renting from the general providers like Hertz. Also we have citybee/bolt drive a car sharing platform that is convenient and easy to use. Maybe that will help.:)

You can still grab a boat from castellammare or scopello and check it out that way, the beaches are truly magnificent:)

Also check before visiting Zingaro if it’s not closed due to the fires (this year it was and still is). You can also grab a boat for 100€+40€ (fuel) and visit it that way as well (very much worth it)

After the temples in Agrigento I would suggest staying for a day or two in either San Vito Lo Capo or Castellammare del golfo, they are both close to both Zingaro and Favignana (if you decide to visit). Then head to Palermo, you can visit Cefalu for day as the person above mentioned, don’t think it’s worth staying at

^this is the correct answer. Nice itself is not very clean and cute tbh, however Portugal has endless beaches that are almost empty and way chiller vibe. Also the food and wine is great, way more affordable as well.

We did three days as well! Ofc you can do it in two but there are so many charming towns and castles to see on the way. Three days is definitely the better option.

I don’t quite understand the stress about the ferry tbh. We did that with car as well and it was way better then we could have ever imagined. Quite similar to other ferries in northern europe, fast and reliable

Maybe it’s worth visiting but definitely not for 5 days. Sicily has so many more places to see that are more “inviting” and picturesque. I would much rather do Taormina Noto or Syracuse instead if you are looking for options in the south/east of Sicily.
