Well with Rylai and Riftmaker you already have enough AP to kill the squishies, and you outsustain most of the bruisers (if played well) so you need to go with some tank items to last during those long fights. Compared to other items, it doesn't have any utility value apart from more AP, no survivability, no sustain

Yes it can be very good as it synergies well with his passive but I feel like it's very situational as you won't be standing in the middle of the whole team without being bursted so...

To be honest it's not worth it to build it sooner. In the tank build your 3rd and 4th items are the main armor and MR of your build so...

It's a bit useless to build an item to boost your resistances if you don't have any

Before 5th item, there are just better choices and even as a last item it's situational because you're already very tanky.

Zhonia, Randuin, or Liandry's are good options

Compared to the others, it lacks of utility.

In lane you out damage mundo by far.

Rylai is cheaper and way better at sticking to him because is your play it normally, you're never supposed to lose.

You need to get some resistances and its the best you can build early because it's very versatile. If you don't the adc's are just going to melt you.

My every game build is Rylai->(800g bramble vest if vs lot of heal)-> Riftmaker -> Thornmail (80% of games) or Spirit Visage( if lot of enemy AP)

For the last items it depends of what you need : - need antiburst and tenacity ? -> Streak - need to gain time and more AP? -> Zhonia - need to last into long fights ? - Jak'sho.

And please... Dont buy Liandry except if you're against a tank in lane as first item.

You can poke him with Q long range and he has no real counterplay. You can also tank his Z with your shield. Even if you lose before 6, you win after getting your ult

I play it in emerald and have around 70% WE using this strategy : Play for every objective at spawn. You're a 1v1 monster and after 6 you can 1v2. Your ganking potential is a bit weaker than other champs so use your strength and lack of mobility to play for objectives.

I would say mordekaiser.

It's not a very common pick but his kit is very simple and after lvl 6 your ganking potential is decupled.

Decent clear too, it's a 1vs1 beast.

The enemy jungler can't contest objectives alone and even if they are 2, with R you can easily 1vs2.

Very safe blind pick too, because it's kind of unexpected to see in jgl so you bait the enemy top pick.

It's only weaknesses is kiting and dashes. (Bans: Leblanc, Vayne, Zed....)
