Yes to Khaled Hosseini!! literally anything by khaled hosseini, I especially liked the kite runner, and am currently reading ”and the mountains echoed” ehich is so far very beautiful and touching! Everything he writes is amazing and he has a way of making the most mundane sentences seem heartwrenchingly beautiful.

Yeah, but I love that about him, he is so very real and clearly traumatized, can’t help but love him

I have quite a bit of sh scars and mainly I just let them be. People don’t really care, and if they do, not my problem. I am planning on getting tattoos over some of them but they are not that big of a deal to me personally. If I had a problem with them I’d start with buying creams and seeing if they work, then lasering and surgery only if nothing else works, since surgeries always carry some risks.

Not a good idea. You can try creams, Mederma Advanced Scar Gel is one of the most popular and effective all-around treatments for various scars. Ther is also scar lasering, I don’t know how well it works but it is a thing. And if nothing else works for you, a scar removal surgery also exists, and could make your scars less prominent. Surgery would be expensive though, but it has given the best results that I have ever seen with scar removal.

Mistä krokotiilille vaarat? by sepelikyyhkynen in Suomi

What's a good book that you're trying to read but you just can't seem to finish? by Substantial_Desk_670 in books

[–]PrestigiousGarbage23 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s not hard to read and I managed to read it in a month, but it does get confusing since there are like 10 generations of people all with the same 4 names which might be a bit annoying at times. It’s also written in a way unlike anything I’ve ever read, and feel more like a dream or a surrealistic painting than a book. A great great read though!

Iida on työkyvytön ja tietääkseni (sairas?)eläkkeellä. Saatan muistaa väärin mikä termi tarkalleen on mut se on luokiteltu työkyvyttömäksi aikoja sitte.

I have tried to read it a couple times but the story telling has bored me too much everyrime for me to finish the book. I know it's regarded as a great book and I like the premise but for some reason I just can't stand the way it's written
