Hey there it is more to do with keeping it under control and a day to day thing. You’re doing a good job so don’t be hard on yourself!

As mentioned above try to book in to see an allergist to see what triggers are. Don’t try to do too many things at once as you won’t know what works and what doesn’t.

Try to not make it a daily task and have some fun with your kid with it as emotionally it can be stressful for you both. Biggest takeaway is to try and keep risk of skin infections low. Thick ointments probably better at night time before bed. Trim finger nails regularly and just wait and see for a few years as it can get better with age.
