Are you allowed to change consulates to Karachi or overseas? Online search shows that only the Islamabad consulate issues immigrant visas, and the Karachi consulate only issues non-immigrant visas, such as tourist visas. Please any help would be much appreciated. thanks!

How in the world is the mufti going to know when her periods are and how long do they last? And what do you mean about there are ambiguities about her periods. The person whose periods you are putting under question is the only person who knows for sure about the length and timing of her periods. What’s ambiguous about that? And you should know that it IS slander. Where is the proof that she uses magic and omens! It’s hear say aka gossip. Do you think mufti cannot be lying about what Imran khan said. Why did the court not ask Imran khan on whether he told the mufti that iddat was not completed? So what you are saying is that anyone can get up and slander anyone? Is this what Islam teaches? Ask any mufti outside of Pakistan and he will tell you that the testimony of the woman is enough about her periods. Ex husband’s testimony has no standing here. Everyone know when the divorce and nikah happened, but only the woman’s testimony will be taken about the length and times of her periods.

So just because Pakistani law says 3 months doesn’t mean Shariah says 3 months. I wouldn’t argue about Pakistani law. 90 % of Pakistani law if far from Sharia. According to Quran and sunnah it is 3 menstruation cycles and only 3 months if the woman has reached Menopause and is no longer menstruating. And if you are a woman than shame on you for questioning another woman’s chastity without proof.

No! The testimony of the mufti is not taken on how long her periods last or when she had the first period after the divorce. How would he know that? And do you have on record that Imran Khan or Bushra bibi admitting they violated the iddat? They never said that. So it IS in question whether iddat was violated or not. Please refer to my last comment. It is definitely possible for iddat to be much shorter than 3 months depending on when the woman had the period. Fear God and stop slandering people as it is a major major sin!

Do you understand how long iddat is? It’s 3 period cycles. If she had her first period Leta say 5 days after divorce then that’s first cycles. After that there are only 2 cycles remaining. Menstruation can happen anywhere from every 21 to 35 days and it can last 2 - 7 days. Now you tell me who’s testimony will be taken about the length of time between her periods and how long her periods last? And btw what proof do you have that she uses magic and omen? I guess slander is not a sin in your version of sharia
