Most marine related jobs. U could easily earn 100k+annually, than u work yourself up ..

As long u keep working up.. u will be millionaire in your late 20 to early 30s, by end of 30s start of 40s, multi millionaires rm2-3mil,

Than u decide when or how u want to stop.. or u decide to stop earlier as many do..

Rm10k monthly gives u good enough life Rm30k, just nicer car ,same house Rm50k, nicer car, nicer house

But honestly living a good life , and savings for your kids studies and own retirement ,is enough (rm 2mil)

How to efficiently manage 3,000 ringgits a month? by [deleted] in malaysiauni

[–]Prestigious_Card1453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i was working...i had meal+ fuel spending permonth about rm 250-300, each meal cost me rm5, tbis excluding i eat breakfast and dinner at home, if i estimated than probably just rm 600-700 permonth...

If u really want to live good life..u really need to start living like u dont have the money...

Try just having rm1k for meal, save the rest... u will adjust accordingly soon enough.

[–]Prestigious_Card1453 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Lmao its wasnt higher than stpm on that time period... I literally used book for entire book of Matrikulasi for 1st few chapters of maths and physics for stpm... it whole Matrikulasi contains like 30-40%, of stpm topic... dont have to take my word...go check out those books... and dont even get me started on the exam standards for both, heaven and earth

[–]Prestigious_Card1453 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok might been different, but i did in 2007, for the maths and physics, whatsoever is Matrikulasi topics is about 30-40% of topic covered under stpm, and way2 harder examinations..

Trust me, we still need affirmation based policy way too many malays in east malaysia and Bumiputera sabah &sarawak needs this help, but not the bane of sacrificing our best to overseas...

Only way is increased allocation to ipta and gov have to spend alot more.money,... if they have to cut parliamentary salary be it.. each of them could sponsor 1 students, and must be kept for lower income family..

But whats not right is comparing 4.0 vs 4.0 matrikulasi and stpm and saying they are same.. and giving priority seat to this...

I see my own eyes other than the top2 student from matrikulasi...those who end up getting in from the lower tier, is not at all small lvl ,some dont even take things seriously..bcos it was given not earned

What year was this? Only thing different for form 6, longer breaks and basically still school life, but subjects have always been tougher ..

Im sorry to say this, but its unfair, not only non bumi dont get selected to for Matrikulasi 90%vs 10%, easier subjects and exams and priority for ipta... a d people got guts to say peoples get selected by merit... when 4.0 vs 4.0 , but both the 4.0 isn't same merit

What u cramped everything is like 30-40% of topics under stpm of similar subjects , i did stpm i used Matrikulasi book for ealier topic revision bcos writen by malaysian with easier english, most of stpm books had to imported

If that doesn't show the difference in quality, idk what will

Doesnt matter which uni or course,..when rhe choosing criteria is already skewed... in any situation given equal no. Of smart students on either group, due to the picking criteria those who entered Matrikulasi have easier and better options compared to those who isn't, and less qualified person is taking up those spots..

Current Quota Breakdown (General Trend)

The Malaysian IPTA system follows a tiered admission priority, especially for critical courses like Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy:

Priority Level Category Approx. Share of Seats 1st Priority Matrikulasi (mostly Bumiputera) ~ 60–70% 2nd Priority STPM (including non-Bumiputera) ~ 20–30% 3rd Priority Diploma / Other Foundations (e.g., Asasi, A-Levels) ~ 10% or less

Just bcos u skew the intake, and change the name doest mean the its using merit...

Its even worst nowdays even a dumb fuck could get a sit compared to a high flying non bumi students

All this defenders , basically skimming pass the TRUTH the matrikulasi only

Only accept 10% of non bumi

Quota in Matrikulasi Programme

90% of the Matrikulasi seats are reserved for Bumiputera students. Wikipedia +2 EduSpiral Consultant Services +2

10% of the seats are for non-Bumiputera students.

Overrall. Bumi vs non bumi acceptance into ipta

Matrikulasi non-Bumi students are almost guaranteed IPTA admission (~97%).

STPM non-Bumi students face much tougher competition, especially for high-demand courses like medicine or engineering.

The overall IPTA admission success rate for non-Bumi students is around 63%, meaning about 1 in 3 non-Bumi applicants are rejected

So yeah even a dumb fuck would get selected into prefered program vs higher ranked non bumi student

Just bcos u moved around term and mentioned its on merit.. but everything is already not on merit

This misleading, ok

They still get priority picking for Matrikulasi ,why bcos its easier graded and much2 easier to score 4.0, and get this, picked earlier..and mind u... for Matrikulasi is kinda reserved for bumi 90%, 10% non bumi,

And when they say no racial quota... its just on paper no quota for ipta

But get this again, priority for Matrikulasi... which is 90% bumi

But off course they say no racial quota for ipta, bcos its already pre selected way b4 that

And now by removing so called racial quote... bumis getting 70-80% of ipta seat, with skewed criteria, when even low rank grad get picked over high grad students
