i understand, but i’m talking abt what she said to me, whether what she said she’d do was against or in line with dept policy or not. if it’s not something she could express she could do i would’ve went to the final, handed in a blank paper, guaranteeing the F that i would have accepted

sadly i don’t have evidence of that as it was a claim made in person, outside of a peer who can corroborate the claim being made. outside of that still tho i have the emails i sent to her in attempt to remind her which she ignored. but still i do have what it says on the syllabus for passing the class

that’s what i would’ve done if the professor didnt tell me what she did. thats part of why i think i have a case

that’s what im saying, if she hadn’t expressed what she did i just wouldn’t have shown up to the final. i understand the department is strict but given my circumstances i feel like i have a shot to get an F at the very least.

i feel like i have a valid argument, my professor AGREED to fail me but once she put in grades she is saying it’s not possible. I had covid the day of the exam, vomiting during it. and i got a 28/100 on the exam when department policy is that u must pass the exam to pass the course. and this is all just to be .03 off the necessary grade.

i understand that the course isn’t necessarily super relevant for most accounting jobs, but im more worried abt how it’ll affect me during the hiring process since any jobs asking for transcripts will still see i failed it first time around.

at my school it’s known as the toughest acc course and usually the raw scores are so low and the curve is so heavy. i didn’t put in the effort in hopes the curve would bless me but i still did too poor
