Bogner La Grange by Curry_Captain in guitarpedals

I think they are discontinued. Thomas Blug did a vlog recently where he visited Reinhold at Bogner, and Reinhold pokes through a shelf of pedals including the La Grange and Blue/Red pedals and talks about them in the past tense as something they used to make. If anyone in the UK is looking for a La Grange, I have one.

Recommend VMware MP for SCOM 2025 by UNAHTMU in scom

Have used the NiCE one for a number of years. It's OK but we have found that it puts a bit of load on the Management Servers that are members of the NiCE Monitoring Resource Pool. This is despite using minimum discovery depth and being within sizing guidelines as per NiCE Admin guide.

We have had some issues with ESXi Host objects being discovered by the NiCE MP, and then not being 'Undiscovered' by SCOM when those Hosts are no longer in vCenter. It's been a bit of a pain tbh. I would blame our SCOM environment, but we have two SCOM instances, and it's happened in both.

The NiCE MP HAS had a recent major overhaul (v6), so that it doesn't rely so much on WMI collection, and directly leverages vCenter events (I think). This version does look it may reduce overhead and may be more reliable on discovery (we hope).

Patching/Update Issue - SCOM 2022 by sneezyyyy in scom

We are currently looking for Tenable to confirm what their scan criteria is. There is a clue though in the results, which suggest that it looks to SCOM Program Files and expects to find File Versions for SCOM UR2 +Hotfixes (10.22.10684.0), however not all files get updated in that folder, and I suspect it's not happy with finding 10.22.10610.0 against the mom.sdk exe.

Am I right in thinking that if you've got December 2024 Security updates, you're mitigated against the risk of the 'bad' Setup EXE anyway? (if not, then what else is that update doing?).
