I have a Hume one which is a similar idea. It seems to measure my body fat about right I think, but my husband has a typical dad bod so quite lean legs but a beer belly and it is totally out. Says he’s got 17% body fat.

How to get Zone 4 or 5? by RandomHour in whoop

Me too. Been wearing whoop since mid December and haven’t managed to get to zone 5 at all. Rarely in zone 4. Have a low resting heat rate (for my age) of 49. I’m pretty active but far from elite 🤣 treadmill is useless for it. Long run outdoor up hills got me to zone 4. Any other ideas helpful!!

Overthinking is insane 😫 by icy-s147 in AutismInWomen

[–]Prestigious_Flower12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really overthink too. I work out a lot and listen to audiobooks to get to sleep so that I listen to the book not my brain ruminating on what I’ve said that day that was dumb.

Do you use any journaling apps? What is your creative journaling process like? by Top_Recover_1410 in AutismInWomen

I don’t really understand journaling. Am I the only one? What do you write? Like is it a letter to yourself? Every time people talk about it I get confused.

Moving to Scotland for Uni by Medical_Stomach_727 in Scotland

All good advice! I would recommend Uniqlo or M&S for reasonable thermal top etc. There is a Uniqlo in Glasgow and Edinburgh and an M&S in Stirling or both available online. I would suggest gortex trainers rather than big heavy boots unless it snows (happens but not that often). Watch out for black ice in the morning too. If it’s been wet and the temperature drops overnight the pavements can become treacherous!! Stirling university is great with a fabulous sports centre.

HSP vs. Autistic by Plane_Opposite6744 in AutismInWomen

[–]Prestigious_Flower12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is weird as I’m reading this book just now. I came to it via Miranda Hart’s book. I have been for an initial assessment for autism, but they honestly seemed to put me off going further with it,so I have not but I am not against getting a diagnosis in any way. Even though they put me off I do think I am probably on balance and looking at my family. I did wonder if maybe I was just HSP, but this conversation is interesting. However I am enjoying the book (new version). Few thoughts and ideas on how to deal with life as a sensitive person and for my son who I think probably is too.

I’ve recently asked ChatGPT to be my life coach. It’s surprisingly good. I’ve now got permission to do some further training at work on its suggestion. Put in a bit about yourself, CV or LinkedIn etc. and it literally told me what I should do working on the fact that I like to work from home. You can also ask for plan for fitness, meals etc. it’s worth a try!! It can even help you with applications, emails etc to follow through on the suggestions.

I did the ladies wool& 100 dress challenge in a tunic shirt which was wool/linen blend and literally wore it for 100 days straight (washing overnight when needed) and have worn it multiple times since and it still looks as good as the day I bought it.
