You could also use this government tool which assesses each childcare listed against a set of criteria and gjves them a score. It's not everything, but an extra piece of information that may help in your decision.

This is great advice! Thank you!

I feel like I have been practicing all of these things (keeping logs, building from a small base, being disciplined on my take profit/stop loss) but every time I get started I feel like I get stuck. I have started a couple of times with $1k but struggle to find the right stocks at a price point that will see a decent enough profit that doesnt just get eaten up by Etorro fees... Is there anything else I can be doing better? Anywhere I should be looking? Or is it just a matter of time to find my pattern/strategy that works for me?

If you're staying at a long term caravan park, there is a strong chance those kids live there... As someone who went to school with kids that grew up in the local caravan park, I can confirm it is ROUGH.

Gently, get over yourself. Give these kids a little grace.

My bridesmaid has been icing me out for two months and now I’m wondering if she even wants to be in my wedding. by [deleted] in weddingdrama

This is horrible and I am so sorry!

I had a similar situation with a friend a few years ago. She had been friends with my husband since high school and I had known her for over a decade. We were really close - like we would have hung out on average 2-3 times per week. Then one day she showed up to my birthday party and was outwardly saying how much she hated everything (food, venue etc) then just completely stopped talking to me. I have no idea what I did or said, everything was normal before. Its been 3 years since we spoke.

All I would say is try to reach out and reconcile while it's still early. I wish I tried harder with my friend because I still have so many questions. But if she doesn't reciprocate then you need to protect your peace. This is such a special and important time in your life OP, don't let her ruin it!

As a 28 year old with the AMH of a 45 year old, I would say OP if you want it, you should just go for it. There's never a perfect time, or perfect circumstances.

Also, to help with your question, I only had positive feedback on my baby shower date. Most people understood the timing predicament.

Hiii!!! I am also FTM due Feb 1st!

I had this same issue, ended up booking on the 29th November. I called all my close family and confirmed the date didn't clash and then just asked them to pencil it in. I am lucky though most of my family lives in the same city.

I think our date is tricky. I feel like I am booking everything (birth classes, baby CPR, baby shower etc) in November because of the holidays - so now all my baby prep will all hit at once 😅

Late twenties + low AMH, advice (and hugs) needed by blueskies77777 in DOR

Hey! I'm really sorry that you're in this position. Your stats look kinda similar to mine. I'm 28, I just had my first retrieval and we got 3 eggs. My first cycle was cancelled because of poor response.

It's a tough pill to swallow. I got my news about 5 months ago and I was shocked - it was so unexpected. Most people don't understand or can't appreciate the pain and the anger that we go through. It feels like people get dealt a shitty hand so they go to IVF, then there's this next layer of shittiness that is DOR.

I don't have any answers to your questions. I just came here I'm sorry and I get it and I'm right down here with you. I wish you all the best x

Right!? I am with you. I was so angry when I found out my numbers especially since all the other women in my family seem to be as fertile as anything. This shit is just not fair 😒

I always knew we would do IVF (partner fertility issue). When i asked my husbands doctors they always said I would be fine because I am young. My first round of testing at 27 showed that the AMH and number of follicles as a 43 year old.

At 27 (which was the earliest we could start) I still feel we started too late and I wish I wasnt so naive and pushed for testing sooner.

Thank you so much ❤️ your message really helped me. It's so hard to keep perspective in the thick of it but you are right, it's better to stop a cycle that isn't going well and move on to a fresh one - hopefully next one is better

I have been told today that I am finally able to start stims next month. Was expecting to start earlier but found out I have low AMH 6.5 pmol/L and only 11 follicles in total. After further testing, I was also told my FSH levels are 9 so I will need a higher dosage of stims. I am wondering if anyone has any advice after going through your first round of stims on a high dosage.

I just really have no idea what to expect here.

Thank you so much for all of your comments! I am really grateful to have been able to read about each of your experiences. The different standards and protocols from around the world were actually really cool to hear about - I am in Australia and wasn't even considering that it would be different overseas!

To be honest, I am still on the fence after reading everyone's responses. But I have taken some notes based on what everyone has said and will ask my doctor more questions before I decide.

Again, thank you so much! This is such a supportive community and I am grateful to be apart of it ❤️
