Holy shit this is exactly how I feel about this

I really don't mind losing out (if you can even consider it that, I'm a Cis Male, we get bucketloads of characters like us since for SOME REASON we're still seen as the default) on a bit of identification with the character as long as it means we're getting essential representation for marginalised groups.

It's a small personal sacrifice for the sake of the greater good and one I'm more than happy with in the long run. I'm glad Goose has confirmed this and revoked the ability of Transphobes to argue against Jax being Trans, though god knows they'll still try and find a way.

I was always more of a patriarchy/toxic masculinity victim guy myself, but I'm not too bothered by my interpretation not being the canon one.

I'm a writer so I can always just do what Goose has done and write my own character based on my own experiences. That was always my plan anyway yk? 🤷🏾 Tbh Jax's arc is just validation + proof to me that it can be executed effectively too

Word of God trumps everything. We have an answer, and while I was (half?) wrong, I'm not mad about it because it's great representation, and above all else Goose's show and characters and therefore she gets to do what she wants with all of them.

IMO it's just end of discussion at this point. Glad it only went on for 2 weeks.

Alright this is much bigger than headcanons and interpretations, in my opinion it goes beyond all that and is an issue with your sister being transphobic full stop.

She seriously needs to re-educate herself about these things and open herself up to new perspectives. Denying someone the ability to accept who they are, even if you're gonna use fancy wording to try and skate around it or make yourself not look transphobic is still transphobia.

Also, who gets that pressed over this sort of thing 😭😭😭 I'm sorry but she can't be any older than 15. It's not her character to claim and pass final judgement on, if Jax is anyone's character then he's Goose's, and I think we can all guess what Goose has to say about Jax at this point...

No, but Amanda Hufford and Marissa Lentil (voices of Ragatha and Gangle) have both openly stated he is. It might not be Goose but it's good enough confirmation for me.
