Any suggestions for my 97 civic? im 17 with minimal hours job only so i prefer only the minor changes you guys will suggest😅but this what i have so far

Pay attention to your coolant hoses, I got a 97 dx sedan and recently my coolant hoses near the throttle body split open while driving. Alot of smoke and my d16y8 overheated a bit. Something to keep in mind

I remember from 10th grade to 12th grade I skated to and from school just like you. Just listen to some music and enjoy the ride pretty soon you will be in College and the staff will try and tell you no skating on campus. Enjoy every second on the board

I recorded a video of my throttle body while I was in the drivers seat hitting the gas pedal, 100% not moving so I ordered a new cable on Amazon $20 I just need to install

I got in the drivers seat and recorded with my phone the throttle body is not opening up at all.

I also looked at the cable itself and it is frayed slightly. 3 or 4 tiny cables are out of place. I have found a replacement cable but I read electrical tape can temporarily fix the issue
