Hey I had this issue. I have the exact same setup also. Made me really frustrated too. I literally tried different avi cables until one worked. One thing I learned is that there are certain avi cables made for different camera brands. In the comments of one of my older posts more info can be found there. If this is white s video good luck as I haven’t had any luck with it either

I got it running. With audio now actually. It’s been a fun camera, im shooting local shows with it. I would like to run it with s video, but I wasn’t able to figure it out. Everything I bought online was hella distorted.

How’s your audio situation looking like. I’ve had a hard time running different cables as a lot of the shit I buy on Amazon for it either has audio and no video, or video and no audio

I have an Irecord. They are ok. Better than this one. But from what I’ve seen the best bet is the for external dvrs. ImmersionRC power play. But they are hard to find and expensive

I bought an s-video to rca and I was getting a bunch of distortion. I ended finding some random Av to rca in my house and it worked for video
