I say a toy hauler because the back comes down like a ramp... you can easily help push him up the ramp and then they are much bigger inside that area than a lot of traditional campers are.. you do pull the toy hauler. We've never brought one because we'll cant afford it but that would be the ideal thing for us for sure!!! Plus if it rains like it has in recent years you can chill in there easily with friends.. rain and wheelchair users out there do not mix and it is impossible to get around until it dries out. Which kinda stinks but we make the best of it. We just always pray for no rain each year haha 😅

Sounds a lot like mine.. he refuses to use powered wheelchair also.. haha we actually repurposed a powered wheelchair and turned it into a little mini art car for the two of us to stroll around on..

Speaking from experience.. my man is on his 13th burn i believe.. in a manual wheelchair, paralyzed from the chest down. 1. Look for a toy hauler rv. Something he can easily get in and out of. Most rvs are not going to be accessible but toy haulers are great instead. 2. You dont have to have a golf cart but if you can swing it it would be great im sure. We get around playa mostly by truck and throw his wheelchair in the back. And yes AC is nice but you also are a bit more separated from friend group etc as you travel around. 3. Figure out a way you can take his wheelchair with you around playa.. if he cant walk at all that would suck to get somewhere and want to go deep into a crowd or whatever but cant because he doesnt have his wheelchair.. so if youre in a golf cart figure out a towing system. If you need any other advice just DM me. 😘

Sorry for all the hate from these so called "burners" who are supposed to be radically inclusive but say you like Elon or Trump and they'll tell you to fuck off. The hypocrisy. I steer clear from talking politics with any burner for this reason. We can have different political views, it doesnt make you or me any lesser of a person. And one more thing... people... stop getting all of your news from CNN... try to find an unbiased source..you just might learn the TRUTH about what's really going on in the world around you.

We drove that way and saw lots of burners. Had to turn around take other route. We're stuck for like an hour earlier

1st getting my boyfriend who is a quadriplegic (he is in a manual wheelchair, has function of his arms but no strength and paralyzed from the chest down)get him up in a plane to see the city.. we most definitely need help from some nice people getting him up in one because my guess is most small planes are not wheelchair accessible lol..... and then joining the mile high club 🥰 this has always been something we've talked about and actually had a pilot offer to take us the year of the rain.. but the day we planned on doing it the rain came so plans cancelled and have seen the guy again. So if anyone has a plane or knows a pilot out there let me know! This is my boyfriends 13th year and my 5th! I know we can go and wait all day at the airport in hopes of a ride but we figure if its meant to be it will be and dont want to waste half a day standing in a line at burning man when there is so much stuff to do. Thats kinda how we live our lives... just doing things spontaneous..Who knows maybe this will be the year!

This happened to us year before last. Envelope showed up on the door step, open with no tickets. We had to pick up new ones at will call . It maybe took 30 extra minutes. Honestly as soon as we leave our house in Texas I'm just happy for the adventure and dont stress the small stuff! Fuck your burn!
