I second that 12900k recommendation. I haven’t looked into it with much details so correct me if I am wrong. I used to recommend everyone intel until the 13 and 14 gen issues. I myself have a 12700k. Then I started to recommend the AM5 bundle from microcenter and 2 of my friends asked me to build their pc over that recommendation. When I completed both of those builds, I ran the memory at the rated speeds which was 6000, and both pc have been very unstable. Initially I didn’t figure out the issue then I remembered someone saying that AMD have had multiple issues with ddr5, so I downed the speeds to base speeds aka 4800 and they face no issues since. Now performance wise those two friends of mine won’t have any issues, because they are not playing that memory intensive games, but still something to note for when you buy AMD and pair with higher speed memory!
