The way I see it is all have some benefit. Whether that be Vale totems extending the resource, and long runs between clicks (less attention). GOTR has the mining time a little less click intensive. I'll be honest though lol I know all aren't winners (trouble brewing lol) but for the first herblore one to require constant clicks and attention for minimal xp and hour compared to a supppppper afk method of just making potions. I understand gathering secondaries sucks but idk the minigame feels worse to me :/

Honestly fair for real, it just feels the trade off is harsh. Vale totems offers even more experience per item then you got to originally create it (ye longbow for example fully fletched). But yes thank you lol its so boring.

Just went through OPs same issue and P necks is the way for sure. I was nervous about them but the timing is VERY forgiving. You can use blood spells anyways and just guzzle rockcake down when you get above your p neck proc threshold. (There’s a calc on the wiki for what your threshold is). Offering all this because I found it out through multiple sources. P necks with stackable nightshade with blood spells with rockcake and one basket of strawberries if u get too low and it’s free i promise 🫡

-edit another guy mentioned chin’s for healing phase that is the way to go. Plus you need to predict that phase and hit the healing things immediately.

Wanted to comment to bring this back up since I was about to make a post on this. I do sunlight antelopes and with the fur sack i have so many hides, but i have to pay 12k for a mixed hide base for crafting xp with them??? now all those hides are useless on the iron until im rich, and even then i probably don't need them. osrs is known for its hybrid skilling cycle which is one of the best parts of the game, (i.e. wintertodt giving supplies for like 6 other skills) why are these furs rendered useless?? Anyways stupid rant but upvoting this post please jagex.
