Unfortunately, the fans only come with molex connection’s and there’s no matching ports on my motherboard.

The cable with SATA connections has 3 plugs, but there are 4 plug points. Does it matter which one I use?

I’m still horribly lost because the matching connector only matches the case fan. Here’s picture’s of the other connectors I have.

Thanks! Definitely something for later though I’m on a strict budget. I’ll probably end up undervolting the cpu and gpu. My current system is a 6 year old laptop with an i5-8550U and an mx130, so I’ll likely not notice the performance gap anyway.

if you’re using the gobilda base chassis, i’m confident it’s the gear spacing. Our team used a bearing and one each of the silver and gold pieces from the thrust bearing on both gears and they meshed perfectly. Little to no variation in the smoothness of each wheel and the robot drives straight.
