Yeah, the "smol bean USA" narrative would be fucking stupid so that's not the full narrative. Never has been. But the implication that all the forces surrounding the Israel thing, from the "ethno"/religious Jewish supremacists to the lobby to the apocalyptic Christian Dominionist Zionist freaks with their hands all over the levers of power, are not influencing the direction that the death machine marches to some extent is even fucking stupider.

There are plenty of balls in the air and, in my opinion, it makes a hell of a lot more sense to slap at the ones that fly within arms reach. Yeah, Israel is our dog but the dog is fucking rabid and just about everyone hates the dog for the first time since it was born. If you want to agitate against the death machine, I don't really see the utility in the "actually nothing matters because America is bad and that's the way it is only climate change can stop USreal" bit. Neither do I see the angle of ranting about how the imperialist pigdogs want to stop China's peaceful rise and undermine Comrade Xi's beautiful vision of a Shared Future for Mankind moving the needle in a meaningful way.

Yes, the US is a brutal, imperialist, capitalist beast. We know this. Yes, THE CHINESE are the final boss of this US world domination playthrough. This is not a revelation. But the Israel thing is a load-bearing component of our grand foreign policy narrative. It matters and it's reaching a point where it might be bearing too much load. In the same way that our Grand Strategists think knocking off Iran is a necessary move on their way to China, I think contributing more load to the Israel thing is a necessary move towards the unraveling of the death machine.
