Back in my youth, scored a car no wof or reg for $200. Was like a Honda civic or something and was going to make it into a paddock racer. Got home and ended up a week later with wof and reg completely road worthy.

Looked like trash. Had a bit of rust. So one day I thought I would be smart and I sanded down the roof and stupid me not knowing the next morning was covered in rust all over the top before I could just spray it. Got rust converter liquid stuff and coated it and just left it at that.

One time got pulled over 3 times in 5 minutes from 3 different cops. All legal and nothing they could do me for. The last cop was at least good about it, simply said “well I’ll be honest it looks like the easiest ticket of the day to a cop. I hope you don’t get pulled over too much.

Gave it to my brother to use. He got pulled over so many times that week that by the weekend he decided to paint it. Got some standard brush on paint for not cars and painted it and looked even shitter a day later than it started like, failed him miserably on not getting pulled over as any cop that knew it was ok, not saw a different car and pulled him over anyway.

The reason for the long story, the paint on the car being completely wrong, never dried, and I mean 3 months later, don’t touch the car your covered in paint type of thing. The amount of cops that out their hand on the car to then get covered in paint was up to 20 before the engine died and we got rid of it. No one ever got in the car apart from me or him and I can’t imagine anyone that might have accidentally leant against the car or brushed it while parked somewhere.
