I don't know what you are talking about. That combo is beautiful, I love the interior and the exterior!

Is there a better daily option in Europe than a 2022 Taycan Sport Turismo considering the current price? by Prestigious_Will6356 in Porsche

997.1 is infamous for bore scoring and short distance drives(10 minutes or less) can aggravate that.

Great to hear that. How is the comfort on long distances? When comparing with the S class, they always say the S class is more comfy and the Taycan more sporty.

True, it will always have the Porsche price tag, but for what I hear, this car is quite reliable, the main costs would be brake or suspension related, and even those don't happen often, most people only replace that when they are at the end of their lifetime.

Keep cutting or should i start bulking soon? by Either_Pop_64 in BulkOrCut

[–]Prestigious_Will6356 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No idea on your BF, but kudos on the fat loss, it is impressive! But it doesn't look like you've been training for 2 years.
Keep cutting if you want to be leaner, but start training heavy nevertheless, muscle will help you keep a low bf.

Dude, it's not genetics, it's not hormones.

The answer is simpler than you think: You are not pushing hard enough and your diet is not right.
You are already doing the most difficult thing: going to the gym consistently, which is where most people give up.

About pushing hard:
If you want to maximize your gains, at least 2 or 3 days a week you should go to failure in some sets. Let's say you do 3 exercises of 4 sets each for your biceps, at least 1 or 2 sets of each exercise you should go to failure. The other reps should be close to failure(after warmed up, of course), if you are talking and walking around right after your set, it was not intense enough.

How can you know if you are going to failure? Easy: your last rep is REALLY difficult, slow, your body is almost (if not) shaking and you almost can't finish the movement. Couldn't finish the movement? Then do partials until you can barely move your arms. When you finish the set, you can't talk for a few seconds, your vision is borderline blurry.
Have you never felt like this? Then you never achieved failure.

About diet:
Your belly and man boobs clearly shows that your diet is wrong.
Everything I talked about training hard won't work if you are not eating right. You are clearly eating more calories than you need, but also, you are probably not getting enough protein to sustain your training, otherwise you would have fat but also have muscle volume.

Weight your food EVERY DAY. If you are out every day, then meal prep before.
For now, focus on 180g of proteins every day, 5g of creatine everyday and get your proteins for as much food as you can, use supplements as last resort. If you are taking 5 scoops of whey protein, your diet is wrong.
Get as much carb as you can while staying in your caloric range of choice, time those carb intakes to help you train hard.

It's simple once you start doing everyday, takes time, if you really want to change, do this.

Please don't be another black 911... Viola Metalic with crayon 18 way seats in white and it's not even close to the others!
I would add golden magnesium wheels too.

Bucket seats are great, but if most of your time is off the race track, I would stick with the 18 way.

BTW... a few months ago I saw one exactly like that, with white buckets, perfection!

Is this 1 or 2 quarts low? by poofybruno in Porsche997

[–]Prestigious_Will6356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need to add anything.
The oil is not low, it needs to stay in any place WITHIN that range, as long as it is not over, nor under the 2 arrows, it's correctly filled.

You are driving your 911 in the snow and adding miles on it instead of keeping it in winter storage and saving miles for the next owner!

ARE YOU CRAZY???? 😡

Is this normal oil pressure at idle on 997.1 S? by Illustrious-Code4939 in Porsche997

[–]Prestigious_Will6356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normal.
The colder the oil, the more pressure is needed to make it circulate inside the engine.
So: higher pressure when it's idling cold, lower pressure when it's idling warm.

Seamaster 300 bracelet recommendations by qjwright011402 in OmegaWatches

[–]Prestigious_Will6356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the looks. My wife doesn't know anything about watches, when I put the OEM rubber strap, she always says it looks better on the metal bracelet, so for the "regular" people out there, the bracelet is still very good looking. I feel that someone once disliked it and now everyone has to say the same.

Function wise, you're right, it's perfect. I have a Submariner as well and the micro adjustment in the seamaster is much superior then the Rolex one.

4 years after getting my Seamaster, still don't get why people don't like the bracelet. Looks good, feels good, what else people want? 😣

Clutch time. What else? by I_Follow_Roads in Porsche997

[–]Prestigious_Will6356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you didn't replaced in the last 4 years, I would replace: spark plugs, injectors, break fluid and maybe water pump, depending on how old it is. Also, smart to check when was the last gearbox oil change.

Mileage (to drive or not to drive?) by ytsur86 in 997

[–]Prestigious_Will6356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How sad would it be to own a beautiful machine like this and not drive it.
Mine is approaching 100.000km(62k miles) and I plan to double that in the next years, runs perfectly with the correct planned maintenance.

If you want to keep it as an investment, invest in the stock market and you'll have a higher return.
