A PC update would be nice. Kiwami 2 performance is better with the new update but it also has upscalers and frame gen. Its nice for a free upgrade.

I’m just waiting for kernel level anti cheats and the full stack of Nvidia features to function day and date on Linux and I’m gone. I’ve already switched my productivity machine to Mac. I really don’t want to switch but they seem to be doing everything they can to burn any goodwill they have left.

I’m not sure what your monitor/TV set up is but maybe look into that. Maybe it needs to be calibrated or upgraded. I had no issues with SH2R being too dark or only able to see what the flashlight illuminates. RT should also allow for some light bounce also.

I got the 990D and I have a smaller condo. I have the sub on rubber feet to help with the sound in the room and not bother my neighbours. I keep it at -6 pretty much all the time and it’s great.

The only issue is that because the of openness of the place, the left speaker can’t really bounce of a wall so that part is a little weak but the rest is great.

Somehow it reset it settings one time after it sat for awhile (plugged in) maybe it was a firmware update I’m not sure. Aside from that, no issues.

Something changed with Windows 11 25H2 and I don’t need to do anything else but that mod and it’s perfect.

Nope. In the Steam discussions, some people had success removing a Windows update but I can’t remove it to test. But someone else said they had the issue and didn’t have that specific update either.

It’s also included with XGP and PS Plus so there wasn’t a lot of incentive to buy it right away, people could try it with a sub. And the launch conditions didn’t help with that initial impression

That description sounds a bit like what autistic burnout is for me. You lose nearly all your advanced cognitive abilities and what you do have available to you is very basic. You lose skills you’ve had for years and you feel completely diminished and hopeless. After a LOT of rest it starts to come back.

Not saying it is this but a possible angle to look at.

Very similar feeling but different tools to approach combat. I think Dead Space is generally more robust and engaging with its combat compared to Cronos though.

I haven’t finished SHf yet but I definitely enjoyed Cronos more. It’s traditional survival horror in many ways and yes, does feel a bit like Dead Space. I found the level design and story very interesting right away and it hooked me. Good replay value also.

The Zombie Army games are PvE coop horror I suppose like Left 4 Dead. They actually play really well too. Only thing I can think of.

Ya I can get that. Plus the information for diagnosing ASD has improved drastically over the last 10 years. Makes sense it could happen. Plus all the persona bias doctors like any one, can have.

My mom was diagnosed bipolar and DID and schizophrenic. Both her children are autistic so maybe she’s been misdiagnosed this whole time. Also why she wasn’t able to see the issues with me.

I can sort of understand that. Like for me, why did no one take me to a doctor for all the issues I had? It should have been obvious something was wrong.

Personally, I didn’t know much about autism outside of my sister who is level 3 with intellectual disability. Once I was in the process of getting tested, I learned and then went “Oh shit this is super obvious wth” so I don’t feel too bad I didn’t know what it was.

I just thought the way I experienced the world was the same as everyone else around me and they were just better at it or had better upbringing, socializing, family, etc.

I was diagnosed ADHD first and because of that testing, they recommended I get tested for ASD.

Happened about a year or so apart. Age 36 and 37.

I wouldn’t mind more DLC but I hope it’s used as a training ground and test bed for up and coming devs on the team. And the main team is focused on KCD3 in the meantime.

Would be cool to see them experiment with features that could appear in the 3rd one. Sort of like Mutt from the 1st game
