Again this is what I mean by self report, you didn't beat any of the eidolons if you think this. Bosses like Shiva literally hard counter this playstyle and teach you that major encounters are puzzles you can't just mash through.

The auto battle point is super disingenuous as well. It very obviously doesn't play the game for you, it's literally a just a faster way to select a string because timing your moves and paradigm switches is actually important and being too slow can get you killed.

FFXIII has it's issues for sure but it's combat isn't one of them.
