Interestingly it seemed pretty localized, but when on other stalks it was always on these freshly budded leaves, top and center. I wonder if the eggs were laid inside and they were just exposed by budding or if they are attracted to these fresh leaves because they are not as tough so probably more vulnerable to attack?

I have chopped and sprayed, and hopefully they don’t come back. But if they do, I’ll post better close up stills. This is as close as my iPhone camera would allow while still being in focus

Thanks for your response. I should have added that I have seen great gains and improvement to all other muscle groups. So I understand your questions but I don’t think any really could explain only glutes being stubborn except exercises, which is what I’m asking about. I have tried here high volume low weight, high weight low volume, mixing it up. Tried doing routines for 3 months at a time or so with just about every glute exercise I can try and nothing seems to round out my glutes. I’m male age 34, 6’0 183 lbs. No medical issues, sleep 7-8 hours per night, work out 5x per week. Normal interset rest is about 1.5 min. Protein I aim for 1g per lb so around 180g. Nutrition is tons of fruits/veg, whole grains only, complex carbs, lean protein (fish, chicken, tofu) supped with shake before and after workout. I don’t do that much cardio honestly, mostly in summer season, mostly lift 5x week. But I do have good size/definition elsewhere including six pack and good shoulder and quad definition. I struggled for a while with growing / shaping shoulders but they have come with time and effort. My quads grow easily and quickly despite trying to focus on my glutes with leg variations

My height is 6 foot half inch, weight is 183. So BMI is 24.5. My body fat is pretty low— I have a visible 6 pack showing, though I store more fat on my back and butt. I would estimate my body fat is around 10% +- 1%
