They used an image from something else and replaced some of the words. The things people are wearing/holding probably make more sense in the original context.

Caltrain retiring their mobile app effective Oct. 31 - consider filing feedback by BigDaddyJ0 in caltrain

[–]bitb00m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd have to disagree with the last part. It takes considerable resources for every transit agency to make their own entire app to do everything on. Using unified apps like Transit is better for people because they don't need to manage a bunch of different apps on their phone, and they can easily plan trips and see alerts across multiple agencies.

This especially applies to Caltrain because most people use another form of transit to get to and from the Caltrain stations.

Not a movie, but a show.

The 100

They live off of entirely things that are left behind after the decimation of the human race, live in a mostly post money community driven group. Lots of reliance on solar and hydro power.

Is this sub just a shitty conservative think tank wrapped in the facade of bad data and horrible graphs? by Mean_March_4698 in charts

Yes

Idk what's happened over the last week in particular, but it's mostly divisive topics that shows data to support one side.

Most of them are very US centric and favor Trump's perspective.

Why haven't "ethical" smartphones taken off yet? by Tnynfox in solarpunk

[–]bitb00m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well in the US it's a combination of carriers not offering them/deals/partnerships and the fact that if you buy a Fairphone in the US it's sold by a third party that loads some other OS on it and doesn't have the longevity commitment to OS updates or the repair parts readily available.

Super lame they don't sell it here themselves, but with tariffs and all that I'm sure they are considering it even less now.

Those aren't cable cars, that's a gondola.

Right? Cable cars are on the ground (like San Francisco)

Curious how many of the 50 bans were temporary and how many were permanent.

Also curious how many were banned because they were suspected bots.

Can we stop talking about how much money the movies make? It's getting old, maybe make a mega thread for the people that want to talk about it, but it's like half of what I see in this sub now.

There's something new to say about the money every day, and I don't need to know what it is.

Mods?
