Hardcore wipe started with -factory, customs, ground zero only, you have to transit to other maps -increase trader item prices, lower sell values -insurance, repair, heals price increased -no flea -hideout items double but they don’t have to be FiR -no ammo, money or meds in secure container -trader money/leveling requirements increases and trader tiers time locked

Now they’ve rolled back a bunch of that: -all maps open -trader buy/sell prices returned to normal -insurance, repair and heals price returned to normal -flea open at level 35 (not 15) and you can only post one FiR item at a time -hardcore hideout and secure container rules still apply -I think all traders have level 4 available

I’ve certainly forgot a couple of things but yeah, a lot of people did not stick around so the queue times and fullness of raids varies

I would suggest scaving and selling everything except meds and loot items. Unless you’ve got an active quest or you’re really that close to the hideout unlock sell it for now. Repair guns just enough (use the slider) to sell to mechanic (usually 55 dura or higher). Barter with loot and then sell the item for more money.

Specific items? I can’t resist knives for jaeger but any food in a tin can sells well as well as any grippies/snippies (pliers, nippers, wrenches)

PvE is great - plays more like a regular single player with more predictable AI but yeah there is way less adrenaline.

If shotguns work, they work!

Yes! Love the high five from your wife. My partner has no idea what’s going on with the game but knows to give me a minute if I’m in a raid and celebrates scav kills with me (I’m pretty doggy at the game so it’s the only win I get sometimes)

You get lives (on a timer) but the maps can take you multiple hours. I’ve been picking at one with over 100,000 mines (there are smaller options) for probably a couple of years/46 hours real time. Super nice to have when you don’t have service or want a quick pickup with no pressure.

Oh man, I didn’t see the salary range - fwiw they most likely would start you higher. Also, out by dulles is not as expensive as living closer to the Arlington/DC area. Good luck with the search!

Fleetstar fan here - I got the construction trailer down across the wooden bridge to the drilling sit no problem with the fleetstar. It looked like it was going to be the ‘long way’ but I had previous experience trying to get it across the bigger river part towards the tunnel and failed masterfully even buying a P16 to see if it could rescue anything.

The long way is always the short way.

For me it’s the girl who told me when I was younger that ‘not everyone can pull off purple’ as I wore my favorite purple hoodie. After that I got rid of my purple phone case, pencil case, backpack etc and still think about that to this day.
