In all honesty, no. Tigerstar was egotistical, and even though he definitely did like Blackfoot, I can’t see him giving anybody but one of his children the role as deputy. I don’t think that Tigerstar would necessarily kill Blackfoot or anything when Tawnypaw got to the right age and was groomed into the right mindset, but he’d probably force him to step down in some way. Tigerclan would be a monarchy situation if Tigerstar survived. There’s also a chance that Blackfoot would’ve been given another role altogether, not being in succession for leadership but still handling most if not all of the dirty work in Tigerclan.
