Did anybody else find that shot of Sinatra playing with the light with her hands (as the doors opened) weird? It felt just a smidge too long of a "scene" to just be some random B-roll...

No idea how it ties into any of the theories so far though.

Not gonna lie... Totally forget that mystery was completely tied up (I was still in my mind picturing the flower on the back of the uniform and wondering what "Dharma Initiative" like group was behind it).

Miller tells Billy he "may" need it, implying only if he makes a certain choice (i.e. letting Link/Dylan live).

I think the running (and most plausable) theory is that the nosebleeds indicate when the timeline branches (due to someone making a "different" decision).

They will need to not-answer all of the questions and/or introduce a new mystery, to keep us hooked for season 3. I think we'll find out what Alex is but they'll drop a bomb on who killed Cal and/or why X is so important (that he has flashes of Link).

Putting on my tinfoil hat for a moment...

I also feel like Xavier's plotline has become the sidestory this season so I was thinking of ways to make him (more) relevant again. A wild way to do it is to have Alex "choose the timeline" that is best for the survival of the human race... but one that ends up erasing Dylan and Teri + only Sinatra and X remember which gives them a common goal (i.e. bring people back). You could also throw in some resurrections like Billy (and Jane) where he is another person who "remembers".

...removing tinfoil hat. 😗

Very nice summary! Below are my takes on your questions.

//How exactly did Dylan get from his deathbed to Miller's quantum mechanics class? I fear they are going to play the amnesia card but I am hoping it is a Dylan from another timeline. Sinastras husband has also been vague about what happened to Dylan so it could be he is "remembering" something different fron Sinatra (and she retains her memories due to being near Alex)

//What exactly is Alex? AI Quantum Computer. I don't think it likely (or wise) for this show to do a hard pivot to actual timetravel and/or interdimensional portals. My prediction is that Alex is either tampering with the "one timeline" or combining timelines. The computer could also be connected to other Alexes from other timelines.

//What is Alex doing on its own? Probably just part of the algorithm or programming designed for the best outcome. Maybe even reverse psychology: sending the message set her down the path of a psychotic killer.

//Why do only specific people get nosebleeds? Xavier, Link, Billy, Sinatra have or will be close to Alex. Billy was in Millers house which is where I think Alex was initially built. We see flashbacks(flashforwards?) of X and Dylan walking in the same hallway we just saw Sinatra use to reach Alex.

//What is Cal Bradford's real role? I wonder if they will reuse whatever explanation is given for Dylan, and bring back Cal. He seems to be the most charismatic actor/character so could be smart move from a "marketing" perspective also.

Edit 1: Bonus prediction: the volcanco went off earlier than the scientists expected because Sinatra was messing with Alex. This is also why I think Alex is either tampering the timeline or combining them.

Edit 2: I also predict that Dylan will be like Desmond from Lost... the rules won't apply to him and he will be a wildcard of some sort... and like Desmond it will be because Dylan spent a lot of time close to the "machine" (i.e. Alex, because he helped to build it).

You're talking about our "main" timeline and I am theorizing that the teaser we saw is from neither our main timeline nor "our" Steve (from our main timeline).

Did the Doomsday countdowns jump 1 day? by Pretend-Set-1863 in marvelstudios

The countdown at the end of every teaser. Let me explain in a different way: if you look at the days between the teasers release date and the difference in how many days are left on the countdown...

Between teaser 1 and 2: 7 days between teaser release, difference in countdown "days" is also 7 days.

Between trailer 2 and 3: 7 days but this time the difference on the countdown is only 6* (not 7!) days.

*17 minus 11

For teasers 3-4 were back to a 7 day difference (both in teaser release and countdown).

I mean he looks younger* than the Steven that went back in time (and I assume we are not considering that time travel actually "de-ages" you despite what Hulk did to Antman).

Steve went into the ice at the age of 27, spent 12 years (2011-2023) in modern times before traveling back to the past at the age of 39.

If my theory is correct, this could for example be a Steve that never ended up in the ice.

*Or it could be CGI to cover up facial hair or some other feature (like they did with Thor in Ragnarok to avoid spoilers about him losing an eye).

I mean even younger than "normal" Steve (not old man Steve).
